1. Scope
Radgok Solutions is the developer identity responsible for SnapBudget AI. This policy applies to the SnapBudget AI mobile application and its related support pages. It does not apply to third-party services you access outside the app.
SnapBudget AI is a budgeting tool, not a bank, payment provider, accountant, or financial adviser. The current release does not connect to your bank account.
2. Data we process
Account and profile data
We process your account identifier, email address when provided, authentication status, preferred currency, display name or nickname, and premium entitlement status. Anonymous use may create a technical account identifier without an email address.
Budget and expense data
You may enter expense amounts, currencies, dates, categories, merchants, descriptions, budgets, and related activity. If you use shared budgets, we process membership, role, invitation, nickname, and shared activity information so collaboration works.
Optional AI inputs
When you choose an AI feature and give permission in the app, we process the receipt or document image, typed expense description, or voice recording you submit. This includes personal or financial information that is visible, written, or spoken in that content. For extraction accuracy, the app also supplies the current date, the selected budget’s default currency, and the available default category codes. Your email address, account identifier, and budget name are not sent directly to the AI provider.
Subscription and technical data
We process subscription product and entitlement information, app platform, technical request identifiers, AI usage counters, and limited diagnostic information needed for reliability, fraud prevention, and troubleshooting. Apple or Google handles payment details; SnapBudget AI does not receive your full card information.
Optional app usage analytics
Mobile app analytics is off by default. If you turn it on in the app, Google Analytics for Firebase receives screen visits, app interactions, app version, operating system, device model, approximate geography, and an app-instance identifier that distinguishes an installation. We do not send your account identifier, email address, budget or expense identifiers, expense amounts or descriptions, receipt content, or voice content to Analytics.
Device permissions
Camera, photo-library, and microphone access are requested only when you choose features that need them. Notification permission may be requested to tell you when an export or report is ready. You can change these permissions in device settings.
3. How we use data
- Provide authentication, expense tracking, budgets, reports, and shared-budget collaboration.
- Turn optional receipt, text, or voice input into suggested expense fields.
- Confirm premium access and manage feature limits.
- Protect accounts, enforce access controls, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures.
- When you opt in, understand aggregate app usage and improve navigation and features.
- Respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use SnapBudget AI data for targeted advertising, and the current release includes no third-party advertising SDK.
5. Storage and security
Application data is stored using Supabase. Database row-level security limits access based on authenticated users and shared-budget membership. Receipt and voice files use private storage paths. The server creates short-lived signed links when an AI service needs to read a file.
No system is completely secure. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards and continue to improve them as the product develops.
6. Retention
Account, budget, and expense data is generally retained while your account is active or until you delete the item or request account deletion, unless a longer period is needed for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or service integrity.
Voice recordings uploaded for AI processing are designed to be deleted after processing on a best-effort basis. Unsaved receipt uploads are cleaned up after a limited grace period; a receipt attached to a saved expense may remain until the related expense or account data is removed. Private AI diagnostic outputs may be retained by SnapBudget AI for up to 7 days. Under its current abuse-monitoring policy, Google may retain Gemini API prompts, context, and outputs for up to 55 days to detect and prevent prohibited use, maintain service safety and security, and meet required legal or regulatory disclosures. Google states that this monitoring data is not used to train or fine-tune AI models other than models used specifically for policy enforcement. Limited backup copies and security records may remain for a restricted period according to provider backup cycles.
Optional Analytics user- and event-level data is configured for a 2-month retention period. Turning Analytics off stops future collection and resets the app's Analytics identifier on that device. Events already transmitted may remain in aggregate reports or provider systems as described by Google Analytics' retention controls.
7. Your choices and rights
You can review and edit many expense and profile fields in the app, delete individual expenses, leave shared budgets subject to your role, and disable optional device permissions in system settings. Receipt-image, voice-recording, and typed-text AI permissions are requested separately in the app before that type of content is first sent to Google Gemini API. You can decline and continue using manual expense entry. You can review or withdraw all AI data-sharing permissions at any time from Profile → Privacy and security → AI data-sharing permissions. Withdrawal prevents future AI transmissions; it does not undo processing that already occurred.
You can turn optional mobile app Analytics on or off at any time from Profile → Privacy and security → Share app usage analytics. It remains off unless you choose to enable it. Turning it off does not affect the app's budgeting features.
To request access, correction, export, restriction, or objection, email [email protected]. To delete your account and associated personal data, use the dedicated SnapBudget AI Account Deletion page. Send requests from the email linked to your account when possible. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Anonymous-account users should include any non-sensitive account information available in the app so we can help identify the correct record.
8. Children
SnapBudget AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can review and remove it.
9. International processing
Our service providers may process data in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate contractual and legal safeguards for these transfers.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as SnapBudget AI changes. We will publish the new effective date here and provide additional notice in the app when a change is material.
